Connick is currently on a national tour in support of his two new albums, Oh, My NOLA and Chanson du Vieux Carré. On these albums Connick puts new spins on New Orleans classics, capturing the unique spirit and beauty of his hometown. "New Orleans is a city of paradox. Sin, salvation, sex, sanctification, so intertwined yet so separate." says Connick. "Jazz, gospel, brass band, rhythm and blues, country, funk aren't all the styles played in New Orleans," he emphasizes. "But they're the ones I wanted to play around with."
