BRIGHT EYES announces the 2007 national tour includes a stop in Austin at the UT Performing Arts Center! Just in time for the band's 7th studio album, Cassadaga.

Bright Eyes is the musical vehicle of Conor Oberst, a young singer/songwriter from Nebraska who first attracted the attention of the indie music world in 1994— when he was just 14 years old— as the singer and guitarist for Commander Venus (disbanded in 1997).

Bright Eyes is a band anchored by Oberst's, multi-instrumentalist/producer Mike Mogis, Nate Walcott, and a rotating lineup of collaborators. The lineup of Bright Eyes players has included Andy LeMaster, Ben Kweller, Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, Janet Weiss, Jason Boesel, John McEntire (Tortoise) M. Ward, Maria Taylor and Rachael Yamagata.
